FEATURED HAUL - THE SHRIEKER

Warhammer 40,000, a hobby that I have long known and longed for but never really had the chance to dive into. Whenever I ask a friend to join me and start with this hobby they get really excited at first all because you get to fight with each other. However, when I go into the details of what we need to do first before we can try and annihilate each others army they start to loose interest. Once we get to the part discussing the money involved in starting they move on immediately with something else. Starting on my own is not really a fun option for me because I am really shy when it comes to asking around hobby shops and play area. That is why I was overly thrilled when I got this kit from one of my hunting grounds.

It's an Eldar Shrieker Jetbike, the box has some wear, a couple of parts has been removed from the sprue, card has been torn but everything is clean, unpainted and complete! Purchase price, 50PHP (roughly 1$)! I have no plans on letting go of this one and no plans of assembling it also. I just love everything about it (even though I'll most likely play a Tau or Necron) that I want to keep it the same way I got it. The artwork on the box and the leaflet is very cool and it is very nostalgic. I used to (well I still do) look at the box of my toys and the leaflets that comes with it and admire the pictures and all the other toys that I cannot buy then almost everyday. And this one is no different.

Asking around the Warhammer Group, someone told me that playing Warhammer is somewhat a calling. With all the time, money and effort that you need to put into this hobby I would not disagree. Not sure if me finding this kit a form of calling but this purchase sure did made me read through the lore again.
