I believe I already have mentioned that I have sold all of my collection before, but just in case I have not, well yes I did sell my entire collection. And there are a few items there that I truly regret letting go. One would be the Taiyo Jet Fighter RC and the other one would be the Tomica Limited Mazda Savanna RX-7 Racing. I was able to feature both cars in my old blog. However, there is one RC that I got before that I was not able to feature in the blog that I also regret selling. It's the 1/14 Nikko Backfire RC that was released in the late 80's.
Some purist might be laughing now because it's a Nikko and most of the toy grade RC's are Tamiya rip offs. I got the car online, bought it because it was cheap, it was a Nikko (yes I like toy grade RC's) and it's a 4 wheel drive buggy. Most of 4 wheel drive buggies are hobby grade RC's, that is why I was really surprised when I got the car and saw two shafts across the length of the car one on each side. Yes that's heavy, yes it might not be the best design for a 4wd but hey this is one unique design that may not work but it is totally cool. If I can, I would be getting two sets of this car, one would be a shelf queen and another one to be modified and be a runner. Just imagine it with blue anodized aluminum shafts with matching blue dampers.
